Cocoon Cellulose Insulation Provides 26% Greater Energy Efficiency Over Fiberglass Insulation.

Extremely High R-Value:  Cocoon insulation's density gives it one of the highest R-Value per inch (R-21 in Walls, R-40 in ceiling) and it maintains its integrity  even in the severest weather conditions.  Made from a high quality engineered paper fiber (cellulose), Cocoon insulation completely fills the void, forming a tight seal around irregular objects such as wiring, plumbing and framing materials in attics and walls. 

Fire, Mold And Mildew Resistant: Cocoon insulation meets flame resistance specifications (ASTM-C739) set by all federal, state and local authorities.  Cocoon insulation are also natural fungicides that protect against mold, mildew and other microbes.

Enhanced Sound Dampening: In addition, Cocoon insulation is highly effective at reducing airborne sound transmission as well as inside noise from plumbing and other sources. It has a noise coefficient of 0.90 according to ASTM C-423-84A.   The product is self supporting and it adheres to any typical wood, metal, gypsum board or concrete sheathing.
