Ron & Scott Merle - Owners.
Harold Merle began a dream he had 45 years ago, build a quality home with a distinctive look, thus the genesis of H.T. Merle Builders. A well known builder of custom homes in the 60's and 70's, Ron and Scott Merle had the opportunity to learn the home building business from their Dad at an early age. Both sons experienced first hand all aspects of home construction, from mixing mortar to applying roofing. This ground up approach gave them a "real feel" for the total building process. This enabled them to formulate the goals and standards that would mark the future of Merle Builders.

B. Dean Johnson - Architect.
Dean graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Architecture in 1976. Growing up in Liverpool, he is very familiar with the architecture styles that populate the Central New York region. Extensive training through the Building Performance Institute (BPI) assures homes designed with energy efficiency in mind. This training keys on improving the energy performance of homes, reducing utility bills, increasing comfort levels and monitoring home safety. All homes designed by Dean are New York State Energy Star compliant.

Angie Salvaterra - Project Coordinator.
Angie has been with Merle Builders for 23 years, coordinating the differnet aspects of the building projects for Ron & Scott. Her responsibilities are numerous: She assists with construction scheduling and purchasing material. In charge of communications between administrators, subcontractors and vendors. She is also the liaison between administrators and clients on change orders. Scott has said on many occasions, "Angie is my right and left arm, when it comes to managing the office".
